The “hell angels”, actively running the drug business in Canada, were finally arrested

CBS, American TV channel announced that the record special operation was completed in Canada. More than a thousand of policemen were involved in the operation of catching drug criminals.
To keep the surprise effect, operation was held simultaneously in three Canadian provinces – Quebec, Ontario and British Columbia. More than 128 warrants of arrest were given by the local authorities, however only 100 of criminals were finally detained.
The representatives of various criminal bands, dealing with import, production and sale of drugs at the territory of Canada were detained. These are representatives of Italian, Irish and Mexican drug mafia, as well as members of the largest biker’s club the “hell angels”. This diverse band was managed by the conspired group of six people.
Besides the arrests, $225 in cash and large consignment of drugs were confiscated. Also five houses with a total price of $1,5 million and 13 cars were under the arrest.
“This is one of the largest special operations of this kind starting from 2009 with a successful end,” Daniel Tibor ,the press representative of Quebec police, stated in his appeal.
