Teacher supplying his students with home-grown marihuana goes to jail
29 year old teacher was arrested by French police. The court sentenced him to the country's prison not so much for the drug itself, but for cultivating and distributing it. As it was found out, the teacher of geography and history of the Technology College of Emerainville city, located on the outskirts of Paris, was caught red-handed by the college director at the very moment when the teacher was giving students “joints”.
After talking with those who contacted with that teacher, government officials found out that he encouraged students to use the drug in order to understand schools subjects better. According to him marijuana is not a drug and does not cause any addiction. He never raised the topic of how harmful drugs could be.
It is reported that the teacher himself after his arrest did not deny the fact that he used to treat his students from time to time. The search carried out in the apartment of the detainee, gave interesting results police found a special box designed for growing cannabis
The teacher received 6 months term in prison and lost his right to teach for 5 years.
