Doctors tend not to talk about "recovered drug addicts," and prefer the term "inactive addicts" those who dont use drugs right at given moment. In your opinion, is it not possible to get rid of this label? Even in the opinion of drug treatment experts, patients remain forever addicted. How can the modern society be taught to have an adequate attitude toward former drug addicts and consider them as a part of the society?
There is no doubt that everyone on this planet has the same constitutional rights, regardless of gender, race, age and other characteristics. Therefore, active drug users and recovered people have the same constitutional rights too, in spite of their illness. People around should treat them the same way as all other people. Society can be taught by different methods, but the best method is to give a good example of tolerance and understanding. Then the change must begin.

In you opinion how important is parental education and relationships within the family in preventing drug addiction?
Family and education plays a crucial role in the prevention of drug addiction. Everything starts in the family, and therefore it’s so important to instill morality in early childhood.

What should be in the Internet age and growth of online communities informational methods to combat drug addiction? What do you think, what means will be most effective today, and how the state should behave in order to successfully affect the suffering of drug addiction and to conduct prevention among healthy population?
Informational methods of struggle, those that are promoted in the media, should be comprehensive and adaptable. We should always keep in mind the target group, the message is addressed to. It is important to fight against drug addiction through dissemination of information. It is actually a prevention of drug abuse and it facilitates our lives a lot. It is essential to reduce the demand for drugs through prevention, so that drug dealers had no motivation to produce and disseminate drugs. That’s great that the war against drugs is conducted, but the combat needs a holistic approach.
