Japanese NPO

  The Eurasian Club is a Japanese NPO which promotes cultural exchanges between Japan and the North and Central Asian countries. Now, its aim expands to the development (/non-development) of the local community. The president Mr.Ono insists that from now on people should cooperate with each other on the grass-root level to tackle with the global affairs.

         The missions of the NPO are as follows:

1)  preservation of native resident’s cultures (languages, music, way of life)

2)  realization of the sustainable development in the rural areas in Kyrgyzstan  

3)  making Kyrgyzstan an information hub in the Central Asia

        Mr.Ono points out that the narcotics destroy the family and community. Also, he comments that in Japan, too, there are quite a many youngsters using the illegal drugs.  It is now a global issue and we need to get together to solve the problem.
