James Hartmann is Austrian–American psychiatrist and existential philosopher. Member of the Society for Phenomenology and Existential Philosophy. Professor and former Dean James Hartmann now teaches sociology at Horney Medical College. He has written widely on organizational analysis, sociology of culture, and social inequality. He has also been a visiting professor at Stanford University.
