It is reported that since November 2011, the RIA News Internet data portal has been holding a number of anti-drug events directed to educating the youth about the harm of drugs. During the events, a number of celebrities expressed their opinions the methods of giving up using drugs and possible alternatives to drugs.

One of those celebrities is Ivan Okhlobystin, a famous Russian actor, film director, script writer, journalist and writer. In an interview to the authors of the project he expressed a number of interesting ideas which make any person to think whether it’s worth to start using drug, and for drug addicts his ideas can become a motivation to give up.

Mr. Okhlobystin says: “I lost 80% of my friends due to drugs. That’s why I care so much… Drugs are for weak people. One can always find other entertainments and other ways to realize one's potential. There are thousand’s ways to die. One can die for love, for justice, but it’s not going for the gloves to die for no particular reason. It’s not cool.”
