UK Prime Minister vs. Marijuana Legalization

11.12.2012

The British Prime Minister spoke categorically on the subject of legalization of marijuana. In his opinion, there is no need for Great Britain to review counter-narcotic related laws. Storage and usage of drugs in the United Kingdom will be further prosecuted at law. According to statistics, more than 300 hundred thousand British citizens are cocaine and heroin addicted.

‘I do not support decriminalization. Drug abuse leads person to nowhere, drug addiction treatment is absolutely correct, and we must continue this work to ensure that we are achieving positive progress’ – said the British Prime Minister David Cameron.

Previously several US states legalized storage of marijuana. One can freely obtain marijuana in drug stores in the Czech Republic. And the authorities of Uruguay are intending not only to legalize marijuana but distribute it among population as well.
