  • Doctors tend not to talk about "recovered drug addicts," and prefer the term "inactive addicts" those who dont use drugs right at given moment. In your opinion, is it not possible to get rid of this label? Even in the opinion of drug treatment experts, patients remain forever addicted. How can the modern society be taught to have an adequate attitude toward former drug addicts and consider them as a part of the society?

    Drugs and other psychotropic substances destroy the human immune system easily; it leads to variety of diseases. How is it possible to take the addict back to the normal society? After all, he is a carrier of various diseases. It seems sad but today, there are not enough specialized centers, which would allow treating addicts, especially taking into account the scale of drug use.

  • In you opinion how important is parental education and relationships within the family in preventing drug addiction?

    The concept of “family” does not exist for a drug addict. They do not even think about it. I will explain my position: a huge number of drug addicts are the distributors of drugs and I’m not only talking about immediate sales. They provoke people around to start drug use.

  • What should be in the Internet age and growth of online communities informational methods to combat drug addiction? What do you think, what means will be most effective today, and how the state should behave in order to successfully affect the suffering of drug addiction and to conduct prevention among healthy population?

    Internet addiction is one of the major concerns in modern society; it affects people enormously. We should use it wisely and encourage people through the Internet to stay away from drugs. I believe that by means of using the Internet it is possible to promote a healthy lifestyle successfully.
