Doctors tend not to talk about "recovered drug addicts," and prefer the term "inactive addicts" those who dont use drugs right at given moment. In your opinion, is it not possible to get rid of this label? Even in the opinion of drug treatment experts, patients remain forever addicted. How can the modern society be taught to have an adequate attitude toward former drug addicts and consider them as a part of the society?
It is necessary to carry out large-scale campaigns to inculcate the public tolerance to former drug addicts. And in this case “tolerance” means understanding that there are other people with different past, but who have the same right for respect, dignity, just like we do.

In you opinion how important is parental education and relationships within the family in preventing drug addiction?
The answer is obvious. Prevention of drug addiction is impossible without constant parental attention, personal example from parents and motivation to practice healthy lifestyles

What should be in the Internet age and growth of online communities informational methods to combat drug addiction? What do you think, what means will be most effective today, and how the state should behave in order to successfully affect the suffering of drug addiction and to conduct prevention among healthy population?
Obviously there are different reasons for using drugs. In addition to those that are justified by the necessity of medical help to terminally ill and severely suffering people, and people passing from life, all other reasons must be stopped by the society. Drug addiction should not become a normal part of human life, at least for the reason that it deprives a person from the right to choose, to personal freedom, by enslaving and a victimizing the person. That is why, at his early ages, the child should have various possibilities and choices for his development, except for the drug addiction. The fight against this problem must start from the treatment of social and family spheres of the society. We are talking about the full employment of children and adolescents in the System for Children and Youth community organizations, various clubs, network sports, tourism and other sections of the community, schools, palaces and art centers. At the same time they all must be free. The state is obliged to manage this concern. In this sense, the Soviet Union of course had a valuable experience. Another interesting experience would be organizing cheap family holidays and joint activities for children and adults in community services or developmental activities. As for the Internet and social networks, there are a lot of opportunities to make a creative influence. This requires a special discussion.
