Doctors tend not to talk about "recovered drug addicts," and prefer the term "inactive addicts" – those who don’t use drugs right at given moment. In your opinion, is it not possible to get rid of this label? Even in the opinion of drug treatment experts, patients remain forever addicted. How can the modern society be taught to have an adequate attitude toward former drug addicts and consider them as a part of the society?
I disagree with doctors, who say that former drug addicts cannot be totally recovered. I know many people who used to abuse drugs, but now they gave up and live a normal life. Actually, these people still have physical and psychological scars, but they continue to live on and be very helpful for society.

In you opinion how important is parental education and relationships within the family in preventing drug addiction?
I believe that children try to follow the example of their parents. Therefore it is important for family members to realize that their actions have a huge educational effect.

What should be in the Internet age and growth of online communities in-formational methods to combat drug addiction? What do you think, what means will be most effective today, and how the state should behave in order to successfully affect the suffering of drug addiction and to conduct prevention among healthy population?
Drug addiction is a problem that concerns all of us and therefore we need to unite our forces in order to decide it; we should not rely on government and law enforcement agencies only. Each person has a certain influence on the extent of drug abuse. Of course, prevention of drug abuse is much easier and safer than treatment of drug addicts.
I think that popular people should be a good example and should not appear drunk in hot spots. Social TV advertising is a good thing, but it should make people identify themselves with what is happening in the video. That is why show business stars should be involved in prevention activities more than others.
