Youth peer education network

Y-PEER, the Youth Peer Education Network, is a groundbreaking and comprehensive youth-to-youth initiative pioneered by UNFPA.

Y-PEER is a network of more than 500 non-profit organizations and governmental institutions; its membership includes thousands of young people who work in the many areas surrounding adolescent sexual and reproductive health. The network, which is constantly expanding, consists of youth from Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia, the Middle East, North and East Africa, and was recently initiated in Brazil.

Y-PEER network has been working in Kyrgyzstan since 2004 and it gets together the volunteers and peers of more that 20 organizations, and is supported by the UNFPA in Kyrgyzstan (kyrgyzstan.unfpa.org ). Y-PEER network of Kyrgyzstan is created by the young people for the young people.
